Business Analyst Job Summary:

For the Customer Experience (CX) Support Portfolio Strategy Team we are seeking a Business Analyst that would be responsible for facilitating and implementing service offer and pricing strategies to Cisco’s hardware and software products.  The business analyst will work closely with our CX Product Managers and will own the execution through the tools, processes, and data to drive service mapping execution through various lifecycle stages of the products.

A successful individual will be able to successfully execute the daily responsibilities while also using their expertise of the role to drive operational change, best practices, and continuous improvements to the function.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage, execute, monitor across various processes and organizations supporting service pricing and mapping
  • Team with CX Product Managers and Operations Organizations to analyze, solution, and implement service pricing
  • Drive the system set up to align with the service strategy for consistent and repeatable execution
  • Review daily mapping tool(s) to identify new products for potential service mappings for CXPMs
  • Execute service mappings to desired strategy
  • Conduct  analysis and insights on historical data to support data driven conversations
  • Formulate and implement service pricing and mapping procedures to maximize output
  • Manage and support escalations to service mapping and pricing
  • Provide pre and post business support and educate the organization on service pricing processes
  • Champion and subject matter expert for the overall service pricing process
Business Analyst Job Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years industry related experience
  • Understanding of Cisco CX service portfolio
  • Strong business acumen
  • Effective critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data and information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills through various levels of the organization
  • Effective in decision making and conflict management
  • Knowledge in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
