Requirements:  

TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR, CONTENT

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the management and evolution of our enterprise content management solution(s) and provide support for those portfolios by leveraging partnerships with other teams (e.g., Marketing, Cloud Engineering, Architecture, Solutions), Product Management stakeholders, vendors and business leaders. This role includes responsibility for all engineering aspects of a portfolio (development, QA/QE, security, stability/reliability, etc).

• You are a subject matter expert for modern content management approaches, content-as-a-service offerings, and experience with large enterprise scale solutions on premise and/or in the cloud.
• You communicate cross-functionally with various teams, organizations and internal and external stakeholders to drive engineering efforts for content initiatives.
• Encourage a data-driven culture to improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of applications and in-house systems to help scale the company.
• You have a proven track record of a "Can-Do" attitude and are results orientated

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 
•Experience in managing global engineering teams working with digital assets (images, video, 3D models, etc).
•Extensive knowledge of content management platforms such as OpenText, Adobe and/or related architectures.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills.
•Solid understanding of the retail industry, customer expectations of an omni-channel company, and enterprise needs to leverage digital content across internal and external channels efficiently and effectively.
•Strong understanding of content management lifecycles, including business processes and retention requirements.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field
•10 + Years Experience
oExperience in corporate management, project management, IT consulting, or related field
oExperience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
oExperience managing operational and/or project financial budgets
•6 + Software development in an agile environment
•5 + Leading global teams with direct reports working on enterprise content and/or digital asset management solutions
•4 + Work experience in a technology leadership role requiring interaction with senior leadership within a matrixed organization
•3 + Manage operational and/or financial budgets
•3 + Working with 3rd party vendors and/or content management software providers

PREFERRED EDCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•Extensive experience leading enterprise data migration efforts onto modern content management platforms such as OpenText, Adobe and/or related architectures
