Web Designer Job Summary:

This position will work to create compelling designs for this luxury apparel company’s online properties. This role will work in a collaborative team and advance the brand’s e-commerce business. From a skill set standpoint, this role is a Web Designer, with basic front-end HTML/CSS talents. The position requires the ability to produce, proof, test, and troubleshoot effective web assets that adhere to our brand standards. The Web Designer should have an interest in general user interface & user experience design. The Web Designer must be highly creative, have a flexible attitude, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Web Designer Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceive and create design solutions that address both the user’s goals as well as business goals
    • Continually improve the web experience for a luxury clothing brand to support marketing objectives and give customers an outstanding customer experience.
      • Work within a cross-functional team with internal clients.
        • Produce design work for primarily web projects that include, but are not limited to: email campaigns, website/homepage creative updates, web banners, site redesigns and more.
          • Develop & Assist in identifying strategic web creative to drive site conversion & improved customer (user) experience.
            • Provide deliverables such as sketches, wire-frames, site maps, navigation systems, page flow diagrams, comps and working prototypes.
              • Execute web projects from design concepts using a web platform, images and light HTML/CSS.
                • The ability to see and communicate your ideas to the team and effectively deal with feedback.
                Web Designer Job Requirements:
                • Experience with industry-standard web software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, or other web design and development tools
                • Understand foundation design concepts (i.e. spatial relations & typography), and also be an out of the box thinker to create new experiences within our design aesthetic.
                • Can work effectively in a fast paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
                • Understand web technologies as they effect presentation layer options and functionality.
                • Ability to collaborate successfully with other creative designers, copywriters and business owners.


                Desired Education:
                • Degree in Design or equivalent experience in a web design role.
